Machine polishing paintwork or even gloss plastics, is simply the mechanical removal of defects through surface abrasion. For the most part, the process involves abrading the top layer of clear coat to remove a microscopic amount. This in turn smooths out the defects creating a flatter surface. This also causes light to bounce off in a more uniform direction, levelling the optical finish, making the surface appear deeper and shiner. When you start to see light scratches, swirl marks, or holograms in your paintwork, then it’s definitely time for a paintwork correction. While you’re there you might as well seal in the freshly correct paintwork with a 8 year ceramic coating protection. You can do this by giving us a call, or dropping us a message, and booking your vehicle in for one of our detailing packages. See website for more info;
