We start the tour on the seafront and check out the famous Old Kent Market and walk to the tidal pool on the beach and what is it like to take a swim?  Then I take a tour of the 100 year old amusement park on the seafront called Dreamland, Walk into the town and the old town of Margate with it&#8217;s famous pub&#8217;s and boutique shops, We then head to the famous Shell Grotto which is an ornate subterranean passageway in Margate, Kent. Almost all the surface area of the walls and roof is covered in mosaics created entirely of seashells, totalling about 2,000 square feet of mosaic, or 4.6 million shells and no one knows why it was built!
